A ladybug on a dandylion, a softly colored tulip, and apple blossoms.
Direct me in the path of Your commands, for there I find delight. Turn my heart toward Your statues and not toward selfish gain.

We have gotten ALOT of rain the past few days!
This is the dam at the 'Cut-off'.
But with the rain, comes the flowers!
Do good to your servant according to Your word, O Lord.
Teach me knowledge and good judgment, for I believe in Your commands.

Knitted hat. (I love the 'kid' colors!)
As you can see, I've this thing with tulips! Because of the crazy weather we seem to be having this spring, I have no idea how long or how many of them I will get to enjoy so I am taking as many pictures as I can every opportunity that I get!
Are not two sparrows sold for a penny? Yet not one of them will fall to the ground apart from the will of your Father. And even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. So don't be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows.
Matt. 10:29-31

No knitting content today. I spent most of my knitting time yesterday filling up needles! It's going to be a busy few days so I needed some 'grab 'n go' things to be ready to go!

Your statutes are my delight;
they are my counselors.
I run in the path of Your commands,
for You have set my heart free.

Some new-to-me knitting needles, some yarn and lots of fabulous crochet pattern books!!
I am so excited about all the new patterns that I will have to try!!
I have to say that this was the 2nd personal meeting of a very dear internet friend! Although our daily e-mails are a source of joy and friendship, this personal visit was truly inspiring! We had been waiting months for this! Just to be able to sit and knit with a fellow knitter! We didn't have nearly enough time, but it was fabulous just the same!
The tulips are beginning to open!!
Freely you have received, freely give.

On hearing this, Jesus said to them, "It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick. I have not come to call the righteous, but the sinners."

He...rebuked the wind and the raging waters; the storm subsided, and all was calm. "Where is your faith?" he asked his disciples. In fear and amazement they asked one another, "Who is this? He commands even the winds and the water, and they obey him."

Found this cute little fellow snuggled down in the flower bed yesterday afternoon.
Honey found this Garter Snake in the ditch. I don't think I've ever seen one that was so green! He looked like a dragon!
The frogs in the little pond were out enjoying the sunshine yesterday too!
Not everyone who says to me, 'Lord, Lord', will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven.
Matt. 7:21

The weather man says 'a slight chance of a possible snow flurry'.
I woke up to a couple of inches of the white stuff.
I am so glad that I got out for a photo op with the daffs yesterday morning!
This is what they look like today!
As the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without deeds is dead.

Our daffs are looking remarkably well considering the weather we have had for the past week and a half!!

12" crocheted squares to be mailed out for assembly.
The purple one will be going to Project Linus.
The red, white and blue one will be going to a VA hospital.

First dandylion of the season!!
To fulfill God's perfect design for me requires my total surrender-complete abandonment of myself to Him. My goal is God Himself, not joy nor peace, nor even blessing, but Himself, my God. Whenever I only want things for myself, the relationship is distorted.

Yesterday started out foggy. Made for a lovely sunrise!
Finished up knitting this hat.
Looks like everyone was feeling a bit frisky yesterday!
The cow-bird and the red-winged blackbird were fighting over lunch.
Mr. and Mrs. Mallard stopped by after supper for a quick little dip in the pond.
The clouds moving in made for a bright and colorful sunset!
A saint is not to take the initiative toward self-realization, but toward knowing Jesus Christ...The aim of a spiritually vigorous saint is 'that I may know Him...' I am not here for self-realization, but to know Jesus Christ.

Praise the Lord, O my soul; all my inmost being, praise His holy name.
Praise the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits-who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases, who redeems your life from the pit and crowns you with love and compassion, who satisfies your desires with good things so that your youth is renewed like the eagles.

And here it is! My latest child's sweater for charity!
I am so happy with this one! I had so much fun making it! I love the wavy cables. It was just enough to keep my interest without getting frustrated with it.
The spring flowers are looking so very sad. All these days of below freezing temps are really taking their toll.
So Joseph bought some linen cloth, took down the body, wrapped it in linen, and placed it in a tomb cut out of rock. Then he rolled a stone against the entrance of the tomb.

No knitting content today. I worked on my latest sweater for charity yesterday. Hopefully, it will be finished today! But here is a counted cross-stitch picture that my son just finished! He is 22 and has worked on this piece off and on for several years. He is in carpentary so there are times during the winter months when things slow down for him. It makes a mom's heart smile when he spends at least one 'snow' day a year doing something like this!!
Hubby and I have started over 200 veggie and flower seeds in the house! Most of them are coming along nicely!!
This is my Dill Atlantic Giant Pumpkin. I have tried these before with no luck at all. But I am determined to give it one last attempt to get a LARGE pumpkin! (LOL! Anything over 5 lbs would be good for me!! But this little booger is suppose to get 500 lbs!!)
Some kind of orange flower that is growing from a bulb that my daughter gave me last May. I wasn't sure I would be able to get it to bloom again, but here it is!!
Then Pilate asked him, 'Don't you hear the testimony they are bringing against you?'. But Jesus made no reply, not even to a single charge-to the great amazement of the governor.

We had an unexpected visitor in our tiny little pond yesterday afternoon! A male Mallard duck!! He didn't stick around too long, but we have never had one here before so it was exciting!!
Know that the Lord is God.
It is He who made us, and not we ourselves;

Each one should use whatever gift he has received to serve others, faithfully administering God's grace in its various forms.....If anyone serves, he should do it with the strength God provides, so that in all things God may be praised through Jesus Christ.

Come, let us bow down in worship, let us kneel before the Lord our Maker, for He is our God and we are the people of His pasture, the flock under His care.
