I felt the need for a bit of cheering up yesterday
so I got out this Red Heart Bright & Lofty in Snowcone
colorway and made a scarf.
It did the trick!! Exactly what I needed!!
Day after day,
in the temple courts
and from house to house,
they never stopped teaching and proclaiming
the good news that Jesus is the Christ.

My daughter and I are knitting the Central Park Hoodie together as a KAL.
I am using the RedHeart Super Saver in maroon that started out as the first
Honey Sweater. She is using the RedHeart Fiesta in meadow colorway.
This is such a fun pattern and I am loving that we are doing it together!
If you remain in Me and My words remain in you,
ask whatever you wish, and it will be given you.

some glorious time outside knitting!

I finally got my cotton squares together!
I used just whatever cotton yarn I had on hand.
#9 circular needles.
The squares seemed to take forever to do,
but it was well worth it when it all came together!
"...I will do whatever you ask my My name,
so that the Son may bring glory to the Father.
You may ask Me for anything in My name,
and I will do it."

A houseplant that my daughter gave to me several years ago.
It was blooming at the time. After it died off, I kept it in the house and
continued to water it for another year, hoping it would come back.
But it never did. So it went out to the shed.
Last fall, when I was doing some cleaning out of the shed, I was getting
ready to just throw it away when I noticed that the bulb was still green.
So I brought it back in the house, watered it and kind of left it alone for awhile.
Now look what is happening!

The little one and I ate an apple a couple weeks ago.
I laid some seeds on a damp paper towel to sprout.
Then we put them in some dirt.
Look what we have now!
A baby Fuji apple tree!
