His delight is not in the strength of the horse,
nor His delight in the legs of a man;
the Lord delights in those who fear Him,
who put their trust in His unfailing love.
Ps. 147:10-11

You, my brothers, were called to be free.
But do not use your freedom to indulge the sinful nature;
rather, serve one another in love.

The girls are THANKFUL for the
day after scraps!

Better the little that the righteous have
than the wealth of many wicked;
for the power of the wicked will be broken,
but the Lord upholds the righteous.

Monarch on a zinnia

Many, O Lord my God, are the wonders You have done.
The things You planned for us no one can recount to You;
were I to speak and tell of them,
they would be too many to declare.
Ps. 40:5

Refreshing treats on a chilly day.
Thank you, Miss Chris for the snacks!

 God said,
"Let there be an expanse between the waters
to separate water from water."
So God made the expanse
and separated the water under the expanse
from the water above it.
And it was so.
 God called the expanse "sky."
And there was evening,
and there was morning-the second day.
Gen. 1:6-8

It does not, therefore,
depend on man's effort,

"I have no need of a bull from your stall
or of goats from your pens,
for every animal of the forest is Mine,
and the cattle on a thousand hills.
I know every bird in the mountains,
and the creatures of the field are Mine."
Ps. 50:9-11

For who makes you different from anyone else?
What do you have that you did not receive?
And if you did receive it,
why do boast as though you did not?

looking forward to some special family time!

we are trying something 'new-to-us'

You, therefore, have no excuse,
you who pass judgement on someone else,
for at whatever point you judge the other,
you are condemning yourself,
because you who pass judgement do the same things.
Ro. 2:1

playing with the moon!!

For since the creation of the world
God's invisible qualities-
His eternal power and divine nature-
have been clearly seen,
being understood from what has been made,
so that men are without excuse.

We are finally going to give in to the changing of the seasons
today and take out the screens.
On the plus side: it will make for much
better photo ops from the house.

Top-down raglan sweater.
I found 4 skeins of 'stray' yarn.
I love the way they all played well together
for this!

The Lord your God is with you,
He is mighty to save.
He will take great delight in you,
He will quiet you with His love,
He will rejoice over you with singing.

still blooming
after a hard frost!

A few years ago I made up a bunch of things
for a craft show. Due to circumstances beyond my control
the craft show did not happen.
Before I tear these apart to re-purpose
the fiber, I offering these shoulder
bags for purchase to anyone who is
interested.

Though the fig tree does not bud
and there are no grapes on the vines,
though the olive crop fails
and the fields produce no food,
though there are no sheep in the pen
and no cattle in the stalls,
yet I will rejoice in the Lord,
I will be joyful in God my Savior.
Hab. 3:17-18
