The nights are getting cool. I think all my little critters know that the seasons are changing!

As a father has compassion his children, so the Lord has compassion on those who fear Him; for He knows how we are formed, He remembers that we are dust. Ps. 103:13-14

Finished crocehting this afghan yesterday. Not my best work. If you look closely, you will be able to see where it has been worked on 3 different times! That first square in varigated pink and maroons came to me in a box of donated yarn. The wide stripes that follow are where I had found the pattern and worked on it. Got bored and frustrated with it for whatever reason and it got put away for about a year or more. I got it back out last week and decided to use up some extra scraps of yarn that I had around. It is the perfect size for a toddler or as a lap-ghan for someone.





The Lord is compassionate and gracious, slow to anger, abounding in love. He will not always accuse, nor will He harbor His anger forever; He does not treat us as our sins deserve or repay us according to our iniquities. For as high as the heavens are above the earth, so great is His love for those who fear Him.

In the beginning You laid the foundations of the earth, and the heavens are the work of Your hands. They will perish, but You remain; they will all wear out like a garmet. Like clothing You will change them and they will be discarded. But You remain the same, and Your years will never end. The children of your servants will live in Your presence; thier descnedants will be established before You.

We were out cleaning up the moonflower garden yesterday. Not too many flowers blooming anymore each night. But here is one with the morning dew still on it. And a yellow thistle weed. Love the beautiful flower. Don't care for the prickers!


When I sat down to do some yarn work, I picked up the small blue baby hat loom instead of the crochet hook or knitting needles. But I guess that's ok. I got these 6 hats done!


Oh, yeah, I was out collecting some flower seeds and found this fellow!


A freind stopped over yesterday and dropped off these beautiful hats that she has been crocheting! A couple of matching scarfs. And a set of mittens! THANK YOU, DORIS!!

Here are the effects of Ernesto. According to the weather people. But, seriously, I think our weather has pretty much looked like this for the last week: cloudy, breezy, chilly, rainy. I am really ready for some sunshine!!

However, I am making good use of my time indoors. Here is the baby blanket for charity that I crocheted with 'leftover' baby yarn. Not as large as I would have liked, but I'm sure that it will keep a a small person warm.

Me and my camera did step out for a few minutes, as it started to sprinkle!

Couple more hats on the KK looms. I've been working with this skien of dark blue. It is making some very lovely hats, but, boy, are they hard to photograph!

Went out to pick a few tomatoes yesterday. I am disappointed that we don't seem to have any tomoatoe worms! And I don't understand why not. I was so busy looking for them, that I almost missed this guy!

Then I went out to get the paper! Guess this guy was guarding it for me!! Or else he was thinking he wanted to read it first!

How great is the love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God!
