Walked around the house yesterday with the camera!
I am so ready for spring!
Houseplants just aren't the same as outside plants!

If God is for us, who can be against us?
He who did not spare His own Son,
but gave Him up for us all-how will He not also,
along with Him,
graciously give us all things?
Romans 8:31

This morning's sunrise.

Now it is God who makes both us and you stand firm in Christ.
He anointed us, set His seal of ownership on us,
and put His Spirit in our hearts as a deposit,
guaranteeing what is to come.
2 Cor. 1:21:22

He died for all,
that those who live should no longer live for themselves
but for Him who died for them and was raised again.
2 Cor. 5:15

Not much progress made yesterday.

I was busy......

...playing with Baby Girl!!!

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation;
the old has gone, the new has come!
2 Cor. 5:17

This newest towel project will be my
current WIP for a few days.

But we have this treasure in jars of clay
to show that this all-surpassing power
is from God and not from us.
2 Cor. 4:7

This set of 12 pair of mittens is finished and will be delivered this morning.
I had so much fun making these, that this morning I am feeling kind of let down that they are done. I could make up a bunch more and have them ready for next fall. But I really do have some other projects that are waiting for me.

So we fix our eyes not on what is seen,
but on what is unseen.
For what is seen is temporary,
but what is unseen is eternal.
2 Cor. 4:18

The Lord is my strength and my song;
He has become my salvation.
He is my God, and I will praise Him.
Exodus 15:2

I am really having alot of fun making up these mittens!

"Do not be afraid.
Stand firm
and you will see the deliverance the Lord will bring you today....
The Lord will fight for you;
you need only to be still"
Exodus 14:13-14

And more mittens.

PS. I seem to be only able to post one picture at a time this morning.

The local social services office let me know that they are running low on their mitten supply so I have been busy over the weekend trying to get some done for them.

The Lord detests differing weights,
and dishonest scales do not please Him.
Prov. 20:23

Some requested kitchen items.

In his heart a man plans his course,
but the Lord determines his steps.
Prov. 16:9

Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,
the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort,
who comforts us in all our troubles,
so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves have received from God.
2 Cor. 1:3-4

Looking at summer time flowers, while waiting for spring!

For by now I could have stretched out My hand and struck you and your people with a plague that would have wiped you off the earth.
But I have raised you up for this very purpose,
that I might show you My power
and that My name might be proclaimed in all the earth.
Ex. 9:5-6

And we have more snow.

Child's sweater for charity.

For God is not a God of disorder,
but of peace.
1 Cor. 14:33

The sting of death is sin,
and the power of sin is the law.
But thanks be to God!
He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
1 Cor. 15:56-57

Petunia's that I have blooming in the house!

Now these three remain:
faith, hope and love.
But the greatest of these is
LOVE.
1 Cor. 13:13

10 sets of towel toppers are done!
Some of these will be going to my nephews school for a fund raiser,
and some of them will be going to my SIL.
Here is the pattern that I used.

All a man's way seem innocent to him,
but motives are weighed by the Lord.
Prov. 16:2

Current WIP's:
This is what I am currently working on in between finishing up the towel toppers and working on hats! And, yes, I do still have 2 afghans on the needles that should probably be put in the UFO catagory! But I do pull them out and give them a bit of TLC every now and again!

Using the All-over cable Spa Cloth stitch pattern from the current issue of Creative Knitting, I am making a scarf.

I found this pattern in a box of things that I had picked up a garage sale last summer.
I've been looking for a Raglan style sweater pattern that will be as versitile as the T-top sweater pattern that I've been using for the last couple of years for my charity sweaters. This may be it! The pattern is written to include sizes from small juniors to large adults!

So I had to try it out! I am ready to start the sleeves and so far I am really liking it!!

Many are the plans in a man's heart,
but it is the Lord's purpose that prevails.
