Male Cardinal
showing up for some lunch!

A friend shared this yarn with me.
She had bought the pink yarn and pattern to make
a baby sweater for a great-granddaughter who
is expected to arrive in a few months, but then changed
her mind. So I get to make the sweater and share
with someone in need.
The cotton is leftover from some dishcloths
that she has been knitting.

Give me understanding,
and I will keep Your law and obey it with all my heart.
Direct me in the path of Your commands,
for there I find delight.
Turn my heart toward Your statutes
and not toward selfish gain.
