This is Abigail.
She is our Buckeye Hen.

Need to get photo shoots of the pumpkin done
before I get it cooked up!

We do not make requests of You
 because we are righteous,
but because of Your great mercy.

When times are good, be happy;
but when times are bad, consider:
God has made the one
as well as the other.

the beauty of the season...

the sounds of the season....

May the righteous be glad
and rejoice before God;
may they be happy and joyful.

For DGS #2: Brik Martin Sarver
 who is expected to arrive in the next couple of weeks.
I have personalized it.
The deer head in the center is because
he will be born at the beginning of bow hunting season.
The brick wall on either side of the deer
is in reference to his name.
The border is worked in Radiant Orchid
because that is the Pantone Color of the Year for 2014
The falling leaf edging is worked in the
vibrant colors of the season of his birth.
The blue/white edge along the top is
for the changing colors of the clouds of the season.

"For He is the living God
and He endures forever;
His kingdom will not be destroyed,
His dominion will never end.
He rescues and He saves;
He performs signs and wonders
in the heavens and on the earth."
Daniel. 6:26-27

Better one handful with tranquility
than two handfuls with toil
and chasing after the wind.

We grew pumpkins!!
SO excited and happy!
We will be eating well
this winter!!

The sleep of a laborer is sweet,
whether he eats little or much,
but the abundance of a rich man
permits him no sleep.
Ecc. 5:12
