I have NO 'have to do' projects on the needles right now!
So I am just playing around with yarn.
Made this pair of mittens with some tapestry wool.

This big bull frog was out getting warmed up the other day.

The only thing that counts is
faith expressing itself through love.

I received these squares yesterday.
THANK YOU, MILLIE!!
Each granny square is beautifully crocheted, then backed with felt!
They will be put together with other donated squares for an afghan.

Because you are sons, God sent the Spirit of His Son into our hearts,
the Spirit who calls out, "Abba, Father."
So you are no longer a slave, but a son;
and since you are a son, God as made you also an heir.

Blooming flowers in the house.

Carrot cake for my Honey!

I do not set aside the grace of God,
for if righteousness could be gained through the law,
Christ died for nothing!

As for those who seem to be important-
whatever they were makes no difference to me;
God does not judge by the external appearance.

Just look at this fabulously wonderful yarn that I received yesterday!!
THANK YOU, AMY!!
I plan to let it sit here beside me for a few days so it can talk to me and let me know what it wants to be!!

He said to me,
"My grace is sufficient for you, for My power is made perfect in weakness."
Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ's power may rest on me....
For when I am weak, then I am strong.

From top left: loomed hat, carrot cake,
oatmeal, birthday cake.
LOL!

A fool finds pleasure in evil conduct,
but a man of understanding delights in wisdom.

For it is not the one who commends himself who is approved,
but the one whom the Lord commends.

WE HAVE COLOR!!!
Look what greeted me this morning!!
Friday night we had several inches of snow, but yesterday the temps got to the mid 30's which is all these little guys must have needed!!

Last night's sunset.
"Red sky at night,
Sailor's delight!"

Needed a break from the afghan last night
so I jumped on the bike for just a little bit!

"He is not here;
He has risen,
just as He said.
Come and see the the place where he lay.
Then go quickly and tell his disciples: 'He is risen from the dead!'

Welcome to Easter Wonderland!
This is what we woke up to this morning!

Godly sorrow brings repentance
that leads to salvation and leaves no regret,
but worldly sorrow brings death.

Last night's beautiful sunset.

This morning's sunrise.
"Red sky in morning,
Sailor's take warning..."
Yep, there's a snow storm on it's way!

My newest project.
This is just a simple mitered square. It should end up being about 48". Worked in Red Heart Windsor blue with a few stripes of varigated thrown in. On #11's.
The teacher who helped me launch my charity work asked if I would make an afghan for the schools silent auction. Of course I said "yes!".
This fund raiser is closer to my hear than most. This will be raising money to send the 5th graders to camp. I know that when my kids were that age, I was a single, working mom and there is no way I could have afforded the cost to send them with the help of the PTO. So I am happy to help out other parents.

Follow the way of love and eagerly desire spiritual gifts.

Child's raglan style sweater.

Remember this:
whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly,
and whoever sows generously will also reap generously.
Each man should give what he has declared in his heart to give,
not relunctantly or under compulsion,
for God loves a cheerful giver.

God is able to make all grace abound to you,
so that in all things at all times,
having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.

Walked around the house yesterday with the camera!
I am so ready for spring!
Houseplants just aren't the same as outside plants!

If God is for us, who can be against us?
He who did not spare His own Son,
but gave Him up for us all-how will He not also,
along with Him,
graciously give us all things?

This morning's sunrise.

Now it is God who makes both us and you stand firm in Christ.
He anointed us, set His seal of ownership on us,
and put His Spirit in our hearts as a deposit,
guaranteeing what is to come.

He died for all,
that those who live should no longer live for themselves
but for Him who died for them and was raised again.

Not much progress made yesterday.

I was busy......

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation;
the old has gone, the new has come!

This newest towel project will be my
current WIP for a few days.

But we have this treasure in jars of clay
to show that this all-surpassing power
is from God and not from us.
