Found this guy while cutting the grass yesterday. By looking at his wide stripe and thick fur, it means it is going to be a long, cold winter here.

The Monarchs are getting fewer each day. This gal was drying her wings off and getting ready to leave.

By request, here is the first set of newborn baby hats for the local hospital.

It is not only wrong to worry, it is unbelief; worrying means we do not believe God can look after the practical details of our lives. The only cure for unbelief is obedience to the Spirit.

My new project. I was asked to help knit up some baby hats for the local hospital. Just got the yarn yesterday! I am so excited! Ok, ok, these hats are nothing more than a miniature version of what I've been doing anyway! But they are fun!

However, I didn't get much knitting done yesterday because I spent most of the day outside playing in the gardens. Some of my little critters came out to say hi!

When I am afraid, I will trust in You.
In God, whose word I praise, in God I trust; I will not be afraid.
What can mortal man do to me?

Yet, O Lord, You are our Father. We are the clay, You are the potter; we are the work of Your hand. Is. 64:8

This brown/tan knitted hat may not look like much, but I am so proud of it!! I fell in love with this oak leaf pattern that was on a dish/face cloth. So I put it on a hat! I am not good at math, so just the fact that I did it and it came out pretty good makes me happy!!

Here is a bird enjoying our sunflowers and a butterfly having a drink.

Have mercy on me, O God, according to Your unfailing love; according to Your great compassion blot out my transgressions. Wash away all my inqity and cleanse me from my sin. Ps. 51:1-2

The fall colors are just getting started!

Yesterday was a drippy, dreary, cloudy day. So I knitted!

Create in me a pure heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me.

Knitted hats. The green was worked in 2X2 rib and used up a few scraps I had.

A grown up Leapord Frog. In the spring, he was all bright green. Now he is getting some brown on him. He wasn't too happy with me! I nearly ran him over with the lawn mower!

Yesterday was just a perfect weather day for us! All the little critters were out and about! I took so many pictures! Which is really cool, since now we are expecting at least 3 days of clouds and rain! I have plenty of pictures to share and enjoy!!

A couple more hats worked on the loom.

Blessed is the man who fears the Lord, who finds great delight in His commands

Lots of fuzzy's out and about yesterday!!

God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea, though its waters roar and foam and the mountains quake with their surging.
