A hat worked on the loom and a knitted hat.
The pink, knitted one has been floating around in my purse for quite awhile and when I was at the dr. with my mom the other day, I found I was looking at magazines instead of knitting! So I decided it had to come out, get finished and get something a bit more interesting into my purse!

Spring time flowers!!

For it is commendable if a man bears up under the pain of unjust suffering because he is conscious of God.

A knitted scarf. Just using up some odd pieces of white and off-white yarn.

I was walking along the field behind our house the other day and found all these wonderful little treasures!!

Oh the stories these little things could tell!

I really feel the need to repeat yesterday's verse. For some reason, I can't seem to get it out of my mind again today. Some powerful words there.

He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.
Ps. 91:1

I got back into the 'hat mood' yesterday!

Welcome to another beautiful day!!
After yesterdays windy, cold, cloudy day, this mornings sunrise was a welcome sight!

Our Lilac bush.

He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.
Ps. 91:!

A loomed hat. Seriously, I have got to be getting back on that exercise bike so I can get some more of these finished up!

More spring flowers just opening up!

Everytime I look, there are more crocus popping up along the driveway!

Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see.

My 'new-to-me' Christmas Cactus has bloomed!! I'm guessing it is enjoying it's new home!
I got to show it off yesterday! Doris stopped by and got to see the first flower!

And look what Doris brought with her!! Yarn!! THANK YOU so much!!
Of course, I want to jump right in and start working with all the fun new colors!! I can just 'see' hats and mittens!!

Another unusually warm spring day! I am excited to see that our one and only goldfish has made it through another winter! He is so bright and colorful and fun to watch!!

The first honeybee of the season!

Teach us to number our days aright, that we may gain a heart of wisdom.
Ps. 90:12

Ok, I know I posted a picture of this little fellow before, but he is so cute and he seemed to be posing for me yesterday. He did finally get tired of me stalking him and slithered off!

Siberian Iris.

Look what popped up over night! This is a State Fair Zinnia. We just planted seeds a few days ago and when I got up this morning we have things starting to sprout!!

"Why are you angry? Why is your face downcast? If you do what is right, will you not be accepted? But if you do not do what is right, sin is crouching at your door; it desires to have you, but you must master it."
Gen. 4:6-7
Another knitted sweater finished. This one worked up rather quickly and was alot of fun! The Oak Leaf pattern is only the front. I 'swapped' the colors for the ribbing and the neckline for the front and back. Just to keep things fun!

The glorious signs of spring! The yellow crocus are usually the first to bloom for us! And they were out in full force yesterday!!

For the Lord God is a sun and shield; the Lord bestows favor and honor; no good thing does He withhold from those whose walk is blameless.
Ps. 84:11

A rainy, foggy, damp, dreary morning today. But it is spring and all the birds are singing like crazy!!

And when I stepped out to get the paper, I found new flowers had opened over night!!

Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said, "Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you." So we say with confidence, "The Lord is my helper, I will not be afraid. What can man do to me."
Heb. 13:5-6

Another knitted KAL square. This is a beautiful pattern! I may have to make a few more of these! And with each one I am doing, I am getting more comfortable with 'new to me' stitches!

Just enjoying the birds! The one on the left is a Junco. We seem to have had alot of them around this year all winter long. On the right is Mrs. Cardinal.

In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.

Knitted scarf

This little skunk has been hanging around every day for the past week or so. He is so adorably cute, but I do kind of hope he moves on soon!!

Mr. Big Red has been making his presence very well known! When he gets to singing, I think the whole neighborhood can hear him!

The Lord is slow to anger and great in power; the Lord will not leave the guilty unpunished.

Hubby got some spring fever yesterday! We got some of our veggie and flower seeds started in the house! I'm so excited! I've been waiting weeks to get started! Last year we weren't able to do any seed starts in the house so it will be extra enjoyable this year!

I finished this child's sweater for charity last night. The ribbing at the bottom is a dark green, the stitch pattern is Elongated Chevron from About.com and the garter stitching at the top is done in a dark blue. It is a 'size 2' of the basic knit pattern from Guideposts.

Since you call on a Father who judges each man's work impartially, live your lives as strangers here in reverent fear.

Welcome to the last day of winter!

I stepped outside this morning to take out the trash. The sun was a big beautiful orange ball just poking up from the trees!

Took the trash out to the end of the drive, turned around to walk back, and it was up and shining brightly!

Mostly I worked on the sweater yesterday, but I did get on the bike last night long enough to finish this hat.

A saint is not to take the initiative toward self-realization, but toward knowing Jesus Christ. A saint sees every situation in which he finds himself as the means of obtaining a greater knowledge of Jesus Christ.

I worked on this new bright orange sweater yesterday. It is working up rather quickly and I am enjoying the bright, cheery color and the fun stitch pattern!

It was a pretty good day to watch the birds too! The Redwinged Blackbird spent quite a bit of time at the feeder yesterday! But this Robin didn't want to get too close.

Anyone who chooses to be a friend of the world becomes an enemy of God. Or do you think Scripture says without reason that God jealously longs for the spirit that He made to live in us?
James 4:4-6

More loomed hats.

It's been kind of cloudy and cold here the last few days.

I did find this cute little snake out getting some sun the first of the week.

Who is a God like You, who pardons sin and forgives the transgression of the remnent of His inheritance? You do not stay angry forever but delight to show mercy.
Micah 7:18

I finished the sweater!
The front is worked in a basket weave stitch pattern, the back is just st st.
I am so happy with the way it came out! And I had alot of fun making it.
Of course, I have already started another one! This next one is bright orange!

We had a visitor yesterday afternoon! A skunk just coming out of hibernation! It's not the best picture, but he wouldn't stand still very long!

If any of you lacks wisdom, he should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to him.
James 1:5
