More mums from a couple weeks ago.

Just one hat today. I spend most of the weekend working on a sweater.

He will keep you strong to the end, so that you will be blameless on the day of our Lord Jesus Christ. God, who has called you into fellowship with his Son Jesus Christ our Lord is faithful.

LOOK what I recieved yesterday! (THANK YOU, DORIS & SISTER!)
This is a Christimas Cactus that is about 75 yrs old and has been handed down through the family of a dear friend. After much consideration, they have asked me to take care of it for them! I feel quite honored!

Yesterday ended up being a very busy day so I didn't get much knitting done. Only one hat to share today.

Another picture from our trip north. This the Cut River in the UP of MI. A quiet walk along here sure sounds good today!

Your hands made me and formed me; give me understanding to learn Your commands.

We had blue sky and bright sunshine for part of the day yesterday! (something we haven't seem much of lately!)
Here are some fall color pictures just from around our yard.

More knitted baby hats for the hospital. I will, hopefully, be getting more yarn this afternoon. I ran out last night right in the middle of a little pink one!

More little critter photos from Saturday!

Ok, well, no hat pictures today. I did do a few rows on a pink one during my morning phone calls. Then last evening I sat down to do a few rows on the child's sweater before I got back to the hat. My feet got cold!! So I put everything down and made myself a pair of tube type slippers with the blue KK loom.

Now, back to the hats!

This is the one I esteem: he who is humble and contrite in spirite, and trembles at My word.

Here is a fungi of some kind growing on a tree stump!
And a mum. (which was yellow last year!)

There have been a couple of praying mantis in our back porch the week or so. Guess what they were doing!! But here is the promise of more mantis next year!!

Knitted hats.

Whenever our right becomes the guiding factor of our lives, it dulls our spiritual insight. Many of us do not continue to grow spiritually because we prefer to (make choices) on the basis of our rights, instead of relying on God to make the choice for us. (O. Chambers)

Here are some of my little critters from a few weeks ago.

Ever since we have gotten back from our trip, I haven't had much time to get out and check on all my little guys and gals. Life seems to have gotten in the way! Oh, yeah, and we haven't had the best weather! I will probably try to get out some today! I need a breath of fresh air! Sun or no sun!!

Baby hats for the hospital.

No hat pictures today. I got the ok to add the stripe of color to the baby hats!! So I'm working on a few of those right now.

colors of fall.
This black and varigated knitted hat is my first real attempt at 2-stranded knitting. It was alot of fun! And I love the look. Two problems: first, it takes double the time, I need to practise! And second, I probably should learn to follow a chart!! This was just playing around! No rythm or reason here!

We are back!
I have lots of pictures to share!

I just needed to share the yarn donation that I received today!!
Isn't this beautiful?! Oh what warm and wonderful hats this will make!

Thank you, Berroco!! Posted by Picasa

My mom sews quilts. She does nothing with yarn. In fact, she doesn't even seem to like the stuff! (I don't get it!) But she saw an ad and made the extra effort to go get this yarn for me! Isn't it beautiful!! Thanks, Mom!

Hats worked on the loom.

This mornings sunrise. Looks like that might be all we see of the sun today!!

Hubby and I are taking off for a few days. First thing I did was pack my yarn!! I guess I should go pack a few clothes now! I will have lots and lots of pictures to share when we get back!!

Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts.

Knitted hats. That varigated yarn was just calling my name the other day! All those fall colors! The blue one is worked in another 'new to me' stitch called Reverse Triangles. I love it. And it was easy! I will be using that one again!!
