more frosty pics from yesterday morning.

Make it your ambition to lead a quiet life,
to mind your own business
and to work with your hands....
so that your daily life may win the respect of outsiders
and so that you will be dependent on anybody.
1 Thes 4:11-12

Had a great afternoon yesterday visiting
with DD, DIL and the 'grandson'!
This is the fiber content for today:
I knitted while I visited!

I hate to see them go for the season,
but I know they will be back again
in no time!

May the words of my mouth
and mediation of my heart
be pleasing in Your sight,
O Lord, my Rock and my Redeemer.

Once one Robin found the
Pokeweed Berries...

He invited a friend...

then a few more friends showed up!!
Early morning feeding frenzy!

By the word of the Lord were the heavens made,
their starry host by the breath of His mouth.
He gathers the waters of the sea into jars;
He puts the deep into storehouses.
Let all the earth fear the Lord,
let all the people of the world revere Him.
Ps. 33:6-8

wasn't white!

From heaven the Lord looks down and sees all mankind;
from His dwelling place He watches all who live on earth-

A very dreary, wet day yesterday.
Plans were changed and I got to spend the day
making progress on a sweater!

Fear the Lord, you His saints,
for those who fear Him lac nothing.
The lions may grow weak and hungry,
but those who seek the Lord lack no good thing.

time of year!

I got to sit outside and do some knitting yesterday
afternoon. I know that my days to be outside are
numbered! It won't be long before the snow
is piling up!

This woodpecker joined me for a while.
He was quite noisy, but it was good to
see him!

I am hoping that as the weather changes, I can
get back on the exercise bike, which is
where I make these loomed hats.

Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart,
as working for the Lord, not for men,
since you know that you will receive an inheritance
from the Lord as a reward.
It is the Lord Jesus Christ you are serving.
Col. 3:23-24

So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord,
continue to live in Him,
rooted and built up in Him,

See to it that no one takes you captive
through hollow and deceptive philosophy,
which depends on human tradition
and the basic principles of the world
rather than Christ.

the butterfly hatched!

last night was a full moon!
so very bright and still.
I would like to have seen all the activity
that goes on after humans go to sleep!

This knitted afghan was purchased at a garage sale
with the intention of frogging it and using the yarn
for hats and scarfs. But it is so wonderful, that
it was given to me to be handed on to someone
who needs a warm blanket as is!
THANK YOU, DORIS!

As God's chosen people, holy and dearly loved,
clothe yourselves with compassion,
kindness, humility, gentleness and patience.

THANK YOU!!

Therefore, do not let anyone judge you by what you eat or drink,
or with regard to a religious festival,
a New Moon
celebration or a Sabbath Day.
These are a shadow of the things that were to come;
the reality, however, is found in Christ.
Col. 2:16-17
