OTN: progress report on the second requested sweater!

I had talked to his wife last week and she has asked me to make up a few towel toppers for my nephews fund raiser at school.
So my next project, after sweaters, is ready and waiting for me!!

OTN Progress:
Here is the current progress on the sweaters that I have been asked to do.
My intention was to have the blue one finished two days ago!! But 'life' seemed to get in the way this week!! I'm hoping to finish at least the knitting of it today and, if I'm lucky, get a good part of the front of the yellow done!
A friend of my mom's passed this yarn on to me.

Hats worked on the loom.
The 'base' yarn for these is Brown Sheep WW. Which I have found to be very warm, soft and snuggly. The problem with using it for these hats worked on the loom, is it really needs another yarn with it because it comes out so flimsy. Not a big deal. It's just that warmth-wise, it's not needed! But adding color is always fun!!

We went over to the river yesterday. First thing we noticed were all these tiny fish going over the dam. Well, you know me, I had to get a closer look! So I climbed down the steps to the water.
Then I just reached my hand out and grabbed one!!
