The power of a square.

I was asked to make just one square. 

It will be put together with others squares and given

to a dear friend who is having some serious health issues.

I have been feeling bored and frustrated with my knitting

 lately and didn't know if I really felt like committing

to even one little square. 

But I did. 

Amazing how this one little square has changed my entire 

attitude! I am now feeling so very blessed

and thankful and I am again feeling

inspired with my fiber work. 

The power of doing something for someone else

just because. Not because it is needed

or asked for. But just because.

Each of you should look

 not only to your own interests, 

but also to the interest of others.
