Another hat worked on the KK loom.Search me, O God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. See if there is any offensive way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.

I took all of these pictures a few weeks ago. But I didn't take the time to take any new pictures yesterday! Between just being outside still enjoying the unseasonably warm temps and getting my gift knitting done.

All the days ordained for me were written in Your book before one of them came to be.

Yay!! I finally did manage to get a couple more hats worked up! I guess I haven't been on the bike enough lately!Gift knitting update: It is coming along fabulously! The origianl plan was for 3 different items. I have one done!! But I'm thinking of adding one!! I will have to see how plans and time all come together.
The kittens have enjoyed the sunshine the last few days! They are rather wild, can't get close to them, but they sure were interested in my yarn when I went outside to knit!
I just had to sit out and soak up some rays!!Great peace have they who love Your law, and nothing can make them stumble.

We had some dense fog again yesterday morning. As the sun was warming things up and the fog was lifting, it was just so beautiful out!!

The temps warmed up nicely by the afternoon. I think this weekend will be our Indain Summer.
Your righteousness is everlasting and Your law is true. Trouble and distress have come upon me, but Your commands are my delight. Your statutes are forever right; give me understanding that I may live.

Here are some wild turkeys that we found when we were north in Oct.
Yes, I'm sure they are still there! They were in a 'no hunting' area!

The unfolding of Your words gives light; it gives understanding to the simple.

Happy Thanksgiving to All!
Here is a picture of my dad from last year's Thanksgiving. LOL! Scratching his nose with the camera in hand! He will be missed today.
My prayers go out to every family who has lost a loved one. May God's peace and joy comfort you this holiday season.

We had lots of bright sunshine again yesterday! And look what I found! A flower and a bug!!
The Lord is gracious and compassionate, slow to anger and rich in love. The Lord is good to all; He has compassion on all He has made.

LOOK!! We have sunshinge this morning!!
And heavy frost. But who cares, we have SUNSHINE!!!

Sorting through hats. Getting them ready to go to new homes!
I just love all the colors and textures when they are all together!

Your word, O Lord, is eternal; it stands firm in the heavens. Your faithfulness continues through all generations; You established the earth, and it endures, Your laws endure to this day, for all things serve You.

Not alot to take pictures of outside at this time of year!
So here is some bunny poop I found in the yard by the apple tree!

Here is slug having some breakfast.
And some beautifully colored raspberry leaves.
Preserve my life according to Your love, and I will obey the statutes of Your mouth.

I took these pictures a couple of weeks ago.

Hats worked on the loom.
I will continue to work hats on the loom for charity while I am gift knitting! I have found that working with the looms makes my evening bike ride much more enjoyable!
Teach me knowledge and good judgement, for I believe in Your commands.

Just thought I'd give updates today!
Here is where I have left off on my sweater. I had thought it would be nice to have it done for the holiday's, but that's not looking like it will happen. Oh well!! I'm ok with that! I'm having way too much fun with my other projects!!
Got this far on this one. Found major yarn problems. Called Coats & Clark. They will replace the yarn. But it will be anyone's guess if I will have it in time to finish before Christmas. Again, I'm ok with that. I have plenty of other things to finish first! A few late nights won't really bother me!
So this one is my major focus right now! You will just have to guess at what it will be when it grows up!
If we are obsessed by God, nothing else can get into our lives- not concerns, nor tribulation, nor worries. And now we understand why our Lord so emphasized the sin of worrying. How can we dare to be so absolutely unbelieving when God totally surrounds us? To be obsessed by God is to have an effective barricade against all the assaults of the enemy. O. Chambers

I just wanted to share this little maple tree. An old friend of mine (she's not old, our friendship is!!!) brought this tree to me after my dad died. To be planted in my dad's memory. He helped us build our new barn so I planted it at the corner of the barn. I go out and check on it often. Right now, it is the only tree in the yard that still has any leaves!
I bought this yarn yesterday for Christmas gift knitting! I am so excited! I had absolutely no intentions of doing any gift knitting this year. But I changed my mind!! Of course, I can't tell you all about it because I don't know who reads this! But I will selectively keep everyone up to date with my progress!!My sweater and hats will be put on the back burner for a short time.
I have considered my ways and have turned my steps to Your statutes. I will hasten and not delay to obey Your commands.

Knitted baby hats for the hospital.Direct me in the path of Your commands, for there I find delight. Turn my heart toward Your statutes and not toward selfish gain.

This is what a saw when I went out for the morning paper. A typical fall/winter looking sky. Gray clouds with the hint that maybe we could see the sun later. Even all the plants are brown. But at least this one still has some shape to it!

Hats worked on the loom.
Your statutes are my delight; they are my counselors.

We are having cold rain here today. So I thought I needed to post some bright colors from a couple weeks ago!

Knitted hats. The one on the right is worked with cotton. My first hat made with cotton. I was quite happy with the way it came out! And it was much easier to work with than I had expected.
I run in the path of Your commands, for You have set my heart free.

Not many critters out and about. But I did manage to find a couple of things out enjoying the brief bit of sunshine we had yesterday!!

Knitted hats.
My sweater is taking a break!
Open my eyes that I may see wonderful things in Your law. I am a stranger on earth; do not hide Your commands from me.

I found this huge praying mantis egg sack the other day! And this one sole survivor. Moving slow, but still alive!

Hats worked on the loom.

Here is pretty much all that is left of the color in our gardens!

Here is my current WIP! In between hats and other things, I have decided to try to sneak in a sweater for myself. This is not a great picture. It has cables running up and down and the color stripes going back and forth! I'm very excited about it. At the same time, kind of nervous. This is definitely the most challenging project I've done to date!
No temptation has seized you except what is common to man. And God is faithful; He will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, He will also provide a way out so that you can stand up under it.

I had seriously planned to knit all day yesterday. But instead I was sent a crochet pattern for a face mask hat and I had to try it! Of course, I can't just follow a pattern! (that would be like following a recipe! who does that??!!) Here is what I came up with. I like. I may have to make a few more and do some more playing!Look to the Lord and His strength;
seek His face always.

There was still a couple of great looking mini roses blooming at my mom's place that hadn't gotten frosted yet.

But for the most part, this is how everything looks. The leaves are gone, not much color of any kind left. But who can complain when the sun is shining!!

Peace I leave with you; My peace I give to you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid. John 14:27

Heavy frost this morning. And look what I found. The end of the praying mantis season. So sad. It's going to be a long winter without my little buddies!! Oh well. I have my eyes on several egg sacks! The promise of lots of little critters next year!!

Knitted baby hats and a loomed hat.
Praise the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits-who forgives your sins and heals all your diseases, who redeems your life from the pit and crowns you with love and compasion, who satisfies your desires with good things so that your youth is renewed like the eagle's.

Again,... let's see if these pictures will post. This is getting frustrating!! I have been extra busy this week and this is the week that I have to fight with my blog. Not fun.
I'll try this one more time.
Fungi I found in our garden. I love the colors and the shape! God is so creative!!

My first bunch of things are ready to go put smiles on faces and help little bodies keep warm. Of course there will be more ready to go next week, but I don't know if I will get a chance to take pictures as they leave or not.
In the beginning ou laid the foundations of the earth, and the heavens are the work of Your hands. They will perish, but You remain. Ps. 102:25

THANK YOU!!!
A couple more hats finished. The red, white and blue one was worked on the loom while riding the exersice bike and the blue one was knitted while in dr. waiting rooms.
We have not recieved the spirit of the world but the Spirit who is from God, that we may understand what God has freely given us.

I tried to post these pictures yesterday and it just didn't happen! So here's hoping they don't post twice!
I was surprised to see a few of my little critters were still hanging around the other day! It has been getting quite chilly at night the last couple of weeks. Here is one enjoying the warm sunshine and one just snuggling in for a late afternoon nap.

Another child's sweater finished! I am so happy with this one! I love the colors! And I made a few adjustments. Adding a few rows here and a couple of stitches there!
He will keep you strong to the end, so that you will be blameless on the day of our Lord Jesus Christ. God, who has called you into fellowship with his Son Jesus Christ our Lord is faithful.
