Frosty mushrooms

The last of the color.

Knitted hat using 2 strands held together.

All Your words are true;
all Your righteous laws are eternal.

Early morning moon.

Sun and shadows on the frosty leaves.

Knitted hat using some scraps of Homespun.

Direct my footsteps according to Your word;
let no sin rule over me.

I got this cute little guy to sit up straight!!

And here is a real one from our little pond!

You are my refuge and my shield;
I have put my hope in Your word.

Discouragement is disillusioned self-love, and self-love may be love fore my devotion to Jesus-not love for Jesus Himself.

Heavy frost

Knitted hat using some smaller bits and pieces of Lion Brand Homespun

Your hands made me and formed me;
give me understand to learn Your commands.

We had some deer wandering past our place yesterday afternoon.

Sweater for charity.
Again, I put together a couple of different patterns!
What fun!

And here is HUGE mistake!
Why did it take me SO long to figure out that I was knitting that adorable frog upside down??!!
Of course I will laugh about it, but right now I am still a bit frustrated with myself!!

When I said, "my foot is slipping," Your love, O Lord, supported me.
When anxiety was great within me, Your consolation brought joy to my soul.
Ps. 94:18-19

Watching the leaves fall!

Teach me knowledge and good judgement,
for I believe in Your commands.
Ps. 119:66

After days of clouds, rain, wind and cold I woke up this morning to crystal clear skies, lots of sunshine and NO wind!!

Our first hard killing frost.

I will walk about in freedom,
for I have sought out Your precepts.
Ps. 119:45

This is the day the Lord has made;
let us rejoice and be glad in it.

'Christmas Corn'
This pile of grain will be gone by Christmas and it will be used for animal feed.

Forget-Me-Not and Love-in-a-Mist

Hat worked on the red KK loom

The one true sign of discipleship is intimate oneness with Him-
a knowledge of Jesus that nothing can shake.

I went yesterday in search of some more fall color and look what I found!!

A child's sweater.
Again, I used the Guideposts basic T-top style pattern for a guideline, then just did my own thing with adding a stitch pattern and color stripes. I used the stitch count for a size 2, but I seriously think that it may be a size larger. This was worked with RedHeart SuperSaver yarn in maroon and dark blue with the color stripe worked in Bernat yarn.

Teach me, O Lord, to follow Your decrees; then I will keep them to the end.
Give me understanding, and I will keep Your law and obey it with all my heart.
Direct me in the path of Your commands, for there I find delight.
Turn my heart toward Your statutes and not toward selfish gain.
Ps. 119:33-36

Marigolds
Beautiful fall color still going strong!

I was watering my houseplants this morning and decided to play around with the camera.
This is a green bell pepper that I brought in when the cold weather came.
There will be plenty more 'playing pictures' of house plants now that there isn't much outside to photograph!

Hat worked on the loom.
Yes, I did get on the bike over the weekend!

Let me understand the teaching of Your precepts;
then I will meditate on Your wonders.
Ps. 119:27

Colors of fall

Knitted hats for charity.
Just playing with some scrap yarn!

Open my eyes that I may see wonderful things in Your law.
I am a stranger on earth;
do not hide Your commands from me.
Ps. 119: 18-19

A swan at Duck Park in Alpena, MI

All the believers were one in heart and mind. No one claimed that any of his possessions was his own, but they shared everything they had...There were no needy persons among them.
Acts 4:32 & 34
