We were over to my parents place yesterday for just a bit. Here are some flowers from thier gardens.

Moss Roses are one one my dad's favorite.

I am the vine; you are the branches. If a man remains in Me and I in him, he will bear much fruit; apart from Me you can do nothing. John 15:5

Now that my knitting skills are progressing, I have decided that I needed some kind of a row counter besides just paper and pencil. After much consideration and looking through magazines and such, here is what I have come up with! I made it a few days ago and have been using it and working the 'kinks' out (literally!). I love it!! It is working out fabulously! It gets the job done, it is bright and colorful, and I did it all myself! Funny, how such a small acomplishment can make me feel so good!! LOLOL!!!

My little critters are growing up! My praying mantis are becoming 'teen-agers with attitude'!!
Now that I am doing more picture taking, I am noticing that we have sooooo many different kinds of grasshoppers! I had no idea that there were so many varities! How very cool!!

Hats done on the loom.

The nature of the spiritual life is that we are certain in our uncertianty. Certianty is the mark of the commonsense life-gracious uncertianty is the mark of the spiritual life. We are uncertian of the next step, but we are certian of God. The spiritual life is the the life a child. We are not uncertian of God, just uncertian of what he is going to do next. When we have the right relationship with God, life is full of spontaeous, joyful uncertianty and expentancy. (Oswald Chambers)

Knitted hats. The blue one is done using the Friendship Chain stitch pattern. It looks very lovely when it is stretched out a bit. I really like the 'stretchier' stitch patterns for the charity hats. The purple hat is done with a few rows of garter stitch then stockinette stitch.

And MORE flowers!!!

Our Daylillies are beginning to bloom!

I knitted a shawl for my SIL who will be starting chemo tomorrow.
A long-distance hug. (((Jodi)))
I used RedHeart TLC Amore yarn in dk. green in St st.
Then I used some scraps for a basketweave stripe with some color.

Thank you, Alison, for the pattern!

More flowers! Every day now, something new is happening in the gardens!

Knitted hats. I am starting to play around with some 'new to me' stitch patterns. I will always keep a basic knitted hat on the needles for those 'away trips', you know, dr. office visits and such. But for at home stuff, I think it is time to move on to some more challenging things. Don't want to get bored you know!!

As for God, His way is perfect; the word of the Lord is flawless. He is a shield for all who take refuge in Him. Ps. 18:30

The grandkids came over yesterday!
We had to go 'bug collecting'!
Hunter found a fuzzy. And Jasmine found a tiny toad!!

We also found lightening bugs and grasshoppers. And had to go for a walk on the RR tracks. Didn't find much there. But had a wonderful evening!!

Our Moonflowers are starting to open! They are so fun to watch! And they smell so wonderful!

This little guy was hanging onto the screen in the window right here beside my computer for dear life the other day while it was raining! He must have dried off and flew away because he was gone yesterday morning. But he was so gorgous. Looked like fluffy copper!

After the rain, I had to get out and see what new flowers popped open! Here is a snapdragon that is a volunteer from my mom's garden. And a pot marigold that is one of our volunteers from about 3 yrs ago!! Amazing!

Went blueberrie picking with my mom yesterday. Didn't get a chance to take too many pictures because I was busy picking. We picked about 16 pounds! Came home and made a coffee cake!

"I tell you the truth, everyone who sins is a slave to sin. Now a slave has no permanent place in the family, but a son belongs to it forever. So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed."

Just some misc. pictures from yesterday morning.

This was today's sunrise! Beautiful. After another evening of severe storms.

And just LOOK! In these 4 pots I had trees planted that I had started from seed. 3 pine trees and 1 unknown. The local raccoons decided to have some fun last night. This is what I woke up to this morning! What a mess!!

Peace I leave with you; My peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid. John 14:27

storms

Found this little guy having lunch yesterday afternoon. My 'babies' are growing up so fast!

We had storms roll through last night. I got some amazing cloud pictures as it came in.

Then a beautiful rainbow as it was leaving!

And then guy was out having some breakfast this morning!

This is love for God: to obey His commands.
And His commands are not burdensome, for everyone born of God overcomes the world.
